★Piston Rods: Chrome plated, quenched & tempered, and hollow variants for cylinders and hydraulic systems.
★Precision Shafts: Chrome plated rods, high-frequency hardened shafts, and quenched & tempered shafts.
★Guiding Solutions: Linear optical axes, guide rods, and guide columns.
Each product is crafted to deliver superior strength, wear resistance, and reliable performance.

Our piston rods are engineered for exceptional strength, accuracy, and durability. Each rod undergoes a meticulously controlled, multi-stage manufacturing process to ensure it meets the highest performance standards.
1. Raw Material Preparation & Primary Forming
The process begins with high-quality raw material. We perform Raw Material Peeling/Turning to achieve a precise outer diameter tolerance of +0.02/0 mm. This is followed by the first Rolling Straightening process, which ensures an initial straightness within 0.5 mm per 1000 mm.
2. Heat Treatment for Core Strength
To establish optimal mechanical properties, the rods undergo Quenched and Tempered (Q+T) Heat Treatment. This process guarantees a uniform core hardness between 220-260 HB, providing the essential foundation for wear resistance and structural integrity.
3. Precision Machining & Dimensional Control
After heat treatment, rods are Cut to Length with a tolerance of ±2 mm. They then proceed through three stages of Rough Grinding, bringing the diameter to a tight tolerance of 0/-0.02 mm. A subsequent high-precision Straightening process improves straightness to 0.1 mm per 1000 mm. Finally, two stages of Precision Grining refine the dimensions to a exact tolerance of -0.09/-0.1 mm, achieving the perfect pre-plating geometry.
4. Advanced Surface Finishing & Plating
The surface is prepared for plating via Pre-plating Polishing, resulting in an ultra-smooth finish with a surface roughness of Ra 0.2 μm. Next, Chrome Plating is applied according to customer specifications, with a standard thickness range of 20-30 μm. A final Polishing after Plating enhances the surface to a superior finish of Ra 0.1-0.2 μm, ensuring excellent corrosion resistance, low friction, and a long service life.
5. Quality Assurance & Delivery
Every piston rod is subjected to rigorous final Inspection against strict quality protocols. Upon approval, rods are carefully Packed, Crated, and Prepared for Shipment, guaranteeing they reach you in perfect condition.
This comprehensive process underscores our commitment to delivering piston rods of unmatched precision, reliability, and quality.

At WUXI PAZON, each specification in our rigorous inspection protocol is verified using specialized, industry-leading equipment. This ensures every piston rod delivers measurable, reliable performance. Below is a detailed breakdown of the key inspection parameters and the precise tools we employ to validate them.
1. Dimensional & Geometric Precision
Parameters: Outside Diameter, Ovality (Roundness), Straightness.
Verification Tools: Micrometers and Odd-Flute Micrometers for accurate diameter measurement across various profiles. For comprehensive 3D geometric analysis, including straightness and ovality mapping, we utilize our Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM).
2. Coating & Surface Integrity
Parameters: Chrome Thickness, Surface Roughness (Ra, Rt), Porosity, Cohesion/Adhesion.
Verification Tools: Coating thickness is precisely measured with a Coating Thickness Gauge. Surface finish is quantified to the sub-micron level using a Surface Roughness Tester. Coating porosity and adhesion are examined using a Metallographic Analyzer for microstructure inspection and a Ultrasonic Flaw Detector to detect subsurface imperfections.
3. Material & Mechanical Properties
Parameters: Surface Hardness (850-1150 HV), Core Material Integrity, Tensile Strength, Impact Resistance.
Verification Tools: Hardness is verified using a Microhardness Tester (Vickers) for the precise surface layer and a Leeb Hardness Tester for quick, non-destructive checks. A Rockwell Hardness Tester assesses core material hardness. Fundamental material properties are validated by Tensile Testing Machines and Impact Testing Machines. Material composition is guaranteed by our Direct Reading Spectrometer.
4. Corrosion & Environmental Resistance
Parameter: Corrosion Resistance (200-hr Salt Spray Test).
Verification Tool: Long-term durability is proven in our controlled Salt Spray Test Machine, which simulates harsh environmental conditions per international standards.
Commitment Through Technology
Our investment in this advanced array of inspection tools underscores our commitment to transparency and excellence. We don't just specify quality; we measure, validate, and document it at every stage. This scientific approach to quality control ensures that every piston rod you receive is built for endurance, precision, and total reliability in your most demanding applications.
